Pros

Of course it is well managed and has a great balance sheet, you will never fear for your job or job security. The company if stocked with motivated people who come from average back grounds but have the opportunity to do great things if they work hard.

Cons

Personally I worked a lot of hours and traveled a great deal. Frequent relocations was a requirement although it is less so now. The really big Con however is that if you like taking risks and pushing the envelop on change, this is not that company. They move slowly and methodically, perhaps boring could be a description.

Pros

- great opportunity for those willing to work hard and actually sweat - tuition reimbursement of 1500$ per semester - part time hours, full time benefits - great workout

Cons

- outdated equipment and facilities make it a dangerous job - union ensures that lazy employees are paid equivalently to hardworking individuals - union also ensures that long time employees receive preferential treatment, at the expense of new hires
