Pros
The union is strong and as a result we have generous teleworking capabilities, flexible work schedules, and a casual dress code. The building is very nice. My friends pick on me for having to work out in Suitland but I like being in a modern building, with walking paths outside, and the commute is easy.
Cons
Even though I believe in the organization's mission, the day-to-day work I have can be mind numbing and projects often gets stalled because of communication issues. There is a surprising amount of downtime. Some people seem extremely busy, while other people like me sit around doing nothing and writing Glassdoor reviews because they're bored. It's an odd distribution of work.
