Pros

The location is convenient. Sometimes you get to travel.

Cons

Horrible management, nepotism and inappropriate behavior by higher ranking supervisors. Management will "throw you under the bus" and lie just to make themselves look better.

Pros

Challenging work. Never bored. Able to work independently and use a diversity of tools on the job. Some of the benefits are helpful.

Cons

Overworked. No communication, understanding of the job, nor praise. Leadership has no clue what psychology is because they are not trained in the field. Department is underpaid, undervalued and leadership are leftovers that no one knows where to put. Not really healthy environment for those who are supposed to help employees, and it shows.
