Pros

Every one will help you every step of the way. No prior knowledge needed. Very organized plan laid out for you from the beginning. Mixes in online training with face to face customer experience. Nothing is ever thrusted upon you before you're ready.

Cons

Lot of turnover, not just at USESI but within industry in general. Some travel required, so if you have restrictions with that I would make that clear from the beginning. 50 hour work weeks during branch training which isn't terrible but can certainly take it's toll on you.

Pros

Excellent family/work life ratio. Since life happens, it's always great to know that the company will help in what ever way possible. Management is easily approachable and truly wants you to succeed. It is a tough industry and highly competitive, so knowing that they are there to help regardless aids in empowering employees to get the job done to earn the sale. Instead of teaching you how to do the job, they teach you how to figure it out yourself. Everything seems to always change in this industry, so there is rarely a one size fits all answer. Knowing how to figure it out is highly important. Coming to work always willing to learn something new, or even a new way to do something, will aid in learning the industry and company. In general, employees are always willing to help regardless of who you are or what the problem is. Even those that are "grumpy/retired on duty" will help. Any tool needed to solve the customers problems is easily available. Sure some vendors are better than others, but we have the flexibility to choose which one we buy from. The general attitude is excellent. As one of the Vice Presidents told me during my interview, the company strives for service. "Because of the service we provide, if we started selling only candy bars, we'd still have our client base". Here they train problem solvers and service providers that you won't find else where. This company has provided me with an opportunity to learn a new industry and does what ever they need to help ensure I succeed. The atmosphere and employees have a balance between blue and white collar, as many of the white collar guys came from the bottom themselves and don't forget where they came from.

Cons

None that comes to mind. The company gives you the tools to succeed, it is up to you to use them and take the advise you're given.

Pros

The team atmosphere is second to none. We had a sales meeting a few weeks ago and our president and CEO was right there with us the entire time and working beside the team. From upper management, to the projects team , to the CDC , everyone has the same goals and works to support each other.

Cons

Almost two years and I haven't found a downside yet. You are encouraged to be who you are and grow into what you want to be in our industry.
