Pros

Have worked at Yale full time for over 15 years. company has gone through ups and downs but is on its best track yet. new upper management is more concerned with employees & their development than in many recent years. Interesting field to work in combining a lot of different areas such as design, technology, electrical etc. Happy to be a part of it!

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but there is a lot to learn in this industry that is ever changing. Job seekers should be prepared that this is a career, not just a job.

Good benefits. Overall, the company wants to be known as one who treats its employees well, but misses the mark.

Cons

The unapologetic nepotism. Very much a boys' club even if you aren't there because you know someone. Plenty of people who know how to be boss, but no one knows how to be a leader.
