Pros

Great coworkers, the people who come in for services are usually easy to work with, a lot of training opportunities.

Cons

Some of the upper management are very gossipy and can make you feel uncomfortable. If you change the programs you work with in your first year and aren't catching on fast enough, you'll easily lose your job. You're the last to know anything about your job.

No room for advancement. "Good ole boy" mentality regarding management. Cutbacks and funding issues are rampant. The workload is INSANE!

Cons

Severe budget cuts and future office consolidations mean goodbye to your job. No advancement opportunities available. Education means absolutely nothing; they will not pay you accordingly. You will not receive the training you need to do your job efficently. Definatley stuck in the past, ancient computer system.
