Pros

Rewarding work to serve the public in natural resource conservation and management. Great team full of passionate people.

Cons

Many other groups suffer from terrible moral. No promotion potential. Upward mobility is highly competitive. You must apply for promotions and compete with all your other coworkers for them. Some people get lucky, others get screwed. HR and hiring is a general nightmare that leads to bad morale.
