      US foods provide fair healthcare benefits.

      Cons

      The organization's HR management and managers exhibit inadequate leadership skills, as there is no clear plan or goal in place for managing employees. They make false promises to employees and terminate or dismiss workers without justification, demonstrating a lack of consideration for employee well-being.

      Pros

      Skip this company if you have a desire to have morals, or a life. Nothing more that I can recall, easily the worst place to work. Maybe the union benefits and overtime pay.

      Cons

      This is easily the most toxic workplace I have encountered in 25+ years of work. I would not wish this place on my worst enemies.

      Good place to work, but not a career

      Pros

      US Foods is great place to work if you want a job but I wouldn't make it a career. After working in several departments over 20 years, I've observed there's generally good support from middle management with opportunity for incremental promotions. The people at USF are wonderful to work with, dedicated and hard-working.

      Cons

      There's little work-life balance due to near-anemic staffing levels. This tends to make everyone work down a grade from their actual positions and doesn't really allow time for middle managers to mentor and grow their teams. More senior management is often in the trenches due to insufficient middle management to handle the day-to-day operations. Strategic thinking and long-term planning are done on weekends and holidays. Although was promoted regularly through the ranks, this was unusual. Incremental promotions were generally all most folks could achieve.
