Great salary for the work; paid travel; plenty of training

Cons

Lots of micromanagement; too much cronyism and definitely a good ol' boy club If you went to college instead of coming from the military you were looked down upon Promotions are based on whether management likes you or not, not on your qualifications or merit Different rules for different people; employees are very rarely held accountable for their actions

The company offered decent pay and that's about it. The rest of what I am saying is just filler to meet the twenty word minimum.

Cons

Driving to multiple locations daily, standard employee benefits, no organizational culture, and the worst manager I have ever had in my life.

Fairly relaxed atmosphere in my office. Decent pay.

Cons

A career is a long time. Something bad, will eventually happen to every living person. These things are true. If you choose to work for ICE realize this isn't like a State or Local agency, if you get hurt (even on duty) they will do their best to hang you out to dry, unless you are one of the "select few" who is related to someone or "in" somehow. You are a tool to them not a person. In this way its almost like working for an intelligence agency.
