Pros

The best reason to work for the USPS is the "MONEY" I am a RCA. I thought I would not get alot of hours but I have actually been getting 40 hrs plus a bunch of overtime. Around 55hrs a pay period. This will be a EXCELLENT Christmas!!!

Cons

The only con is the 6 days s week sometimes 7 because of Amazon on Sundays. I rarely get to spend time with my family bc of all the overtime but I look at it as without this job & the overtime I would not be able to provide for my family as much as i have.

Pros

Stable and consistent employment. Friendly co-workers and employees. Sundays and major US holidays off. Good pay and benefits if you are a regular employee.

Cons

Constant policy changes, 6 day a week availability, on call and limited hours for temporary employees but must maintain 100% availability in case you are called in. Difficult to have another job.
