Pros

The people are nice, the work is outside, but the management is disorganized. They could not get me a time card after 75 days of working there, so they tried to hand write all my hours and overtime. They messed it up so bad they owed me over 50hours of pay for 6 weeks. When I went to resign, they could not find the form to do that. Unbelievable

Cons

Low pay, no benefits , no career progression, nobody really cares. This job is a bunch of old weirdos who's dreams vanished long ago. If you think your positive energy and fun nature is gonna carry you to a full time career at the usps , save your energy for a company that will reward you . If this job started at $30 an hour with the old benefits , I would consider it, and then still the it down. For $15 an hour forget it

Pros

great pay, amazing and diverse people to work with, always a project to accomplish, chance to work across many departments and cross train.

Cons

Management constantly goes against PSE contract rules, working 12 plus hours everyday working every weekend including Sundays, one manager was very discriminatory against contract PSE workers. No career advancement.

Pros

Income, overtime, (got the job so I would never have to work another Sunday)

Cons

CCAs at my location are required to work 7 days a week now with the new contract with Amazon. No promise of career, benefits or a day off. Working for a chain of incompetent superiors and Union Reps. Veteran's Preference means nothing until you become full time which could be never. Being 30 and a disabled war vet, I don't have much time to start a career and hope to retire before I'm in a wheel chair.
