Pros

The Pay, Depending on the size of your office you may be able to advance sooner than most, semi-Stability

Cons

You can go from working 5 days to working strictly 1 day a week, pretty hard to advance(these old folks ain't going no where)

Pros

self management while "out on the street" . Its a fairly laid back job once you get the hang of how to carry

Cons

Not very family friendly. Even when you are a "regular" you may not have a set schedule, meaning, you may get off later than expected.. not a regular 9-5 job.

Pros

I got to listen to books and music all day long. I was alone with my thoughts for most of the day. I also got to be outside, which wasn't always fun in the winter. I loved getting to see myself improve on the different routes I took.

Cons

I worked for 14 days straight without a day off at one point. Management was always concerned about getting done on time, not about getting all the mail out.
