Pros

Good base and overtime pay. When not frantically running around, it's a nice physical job working outside.

Cons

Stressful, overworked, will ruin your life outside of work. There are good reasons over half of CCAs quit.

Pros

Decent pay. Good career potential.

Cons

Totally overwhelming physically. Training not gradual. Terrible pressure to perform right away. I left after two weeks as I was put in an impossible and dangerous position delivering Amazon packages. This was a terrible experience.

Pros

Decent pay-rate for a No Experience Necessary job. My Post Master was awesome, and the people a quite nice and willing to help.

Cons

Too many hours and overwhelming work load for beginner carriers. Equipment is dated and often breaks down. USPS is under-employed in general and has a VERY long and difficult hiring process. This makes it difficult for offices to have enough substitutes (the job you will likely be hired for) and thus means employees are over-worked.
