Pros

There are some great offices with great people and routes with awesome customers. The pay is great and there is usually always an office nearby that could use you on your days off.

Cons

Some routes are huge and leave little time for a brand new employee to learn the ropes. There are far too few training days allowed and while everybody may try their hardest to help out, there is only so much they can do, as they have their own massive workload.

Pros

The pay and benefits are good. Many insurance plans to choose from.

Cons

Go in at 3:00 in the morning and work 10 hours straight with no lunch. On your feet non-stop. Work holidays and weekends as a norm. Takes forever to become permanent. Its good pay.

Pros

The pay at $16.06/hr, EEOC employer, and good exercise.

Cons

HOSTILE work environment, management treats career mail carriers better, mail is more important than their employees, you are always rushed out of the office and to finish your route as fast as possible, CCA's are sent to other offices to help and then you won't get paid for travel b/c management forgets, you can work weeks without a day off, and CCA's have to deliver Amazon packages on Sundays; depending on the size of your office, you may have to drive to a HUB in a different city. I have resigned from this employer and I have filed an EEOC claim that's now being investigated. Do not give them your cell phone number or management will call non-stop on your route; there is no contract that says you need a mobile phone to work for the USPS.
