You practically have no life and no schedule. You can hardly schedule any events because you are on call all days of the week - seriously, we deliver Amazon parcels on Sundays. The work is very physical and tiring. The compensation could be a little better compared to the amount of work. You rarely have any respect from your supervisors. There are no benefits available for CCA's. We have a uniform allowance every year that is never forthcoming so we invest in our own uniforms. Needless to say; those with other choices do not stay in the USPS for too long. The USPS does not pay into unemployment insurance for CCA's so you are basically trapped until you find another job (if your plan is to leave), but at the same time you have no time to actively search for another job because you cannot take time off for an interview - catch 22.
