It's not the greatest...

Pros

The pay is very good if you need it. However they will make sure you work almost everyday if they can. They hate to see you resting even if you have been on your feet for 10 hours

Cons

The post office needs serious help in Management, which is unorganized and does not provide proper training. They expect you to know how to do everything and where everything is on your first day. The workload can get heavy and they treat you like you are a robot. The schedule, 6 days a week, usually 8 and a half hours can change to 10-12 hour overtime shifts at a moments notice. There is no life and work balance. If you have a second job or are in school this is not the job for you.

Pros

They pay well for the kind of work you do. Also the benefits are pretty good.

Cons

It would not be a good place to start working because they're on their way down and that means layoffs and potential cuts in benefits.
