Pros

Job security with decent benefits. Training is provided, if you request for it. Coworkers are there to assist you.

Cons

You can't get rid of the lazy, incompetent workers. No matter how hard or how little you work, you get the same pay.

Pros

Good pay, sick leave, anual leave, holidays. Mostly a clean safe environment. I was able to transfer several times between states. Many employment opportunities, once you are in the door.

Cons

The more you do the more that is expected. Still has the who you know mentality, when trying to advance. Heavily into promotion of females and minorities. Unions have too much power. Too many unions and managemnet associations, that get in the way of the business'or what is left of it. Not a very good careeer choice at the present.
