Pros

Very good salary and benefits for career people. Oustanding craft employees that take way way too much abusement from management.

Cons

The reason for the good salary and benefits is because you have to put up with sssssoooooo much mismanagement, disrespect, and back stabbing. If you can't handle extreme stress and being degraded as a person, DON'T WORK FOR USPS!

Pros

Pay. Ability to be outside and on your own will delivering mail. Benefits if you make full time.

Cons

opportunities to make full time are few and far between. Job well done is hardly ever noticed. On call. Have to maintain a vehicle.

Management is awful, No room for advancement, Negative reinforcement (You can't do a good job without having more work put on your lap immediately), 6 day work weeks (sometimes Sundays)
