Pros

The benefits are good, there are a lot of in office perks like gyms and cafeterias that help save money. Once you're in the company 6+ months you can start moving around to different jobs so there is lots of potential career wise.

Cons

The pay is below market standards, if you don't outpace your peers you're normally skipped when it comes to promotions or career advancement.

Pros

Benefits, Pay, PTO, Bonuses, WFH

Cons

Call Volume, High Turnover, Micromanagement, poor management. When I first got hired at Usaa it was a dream come true. It was a company I always wanted to work for. The culture and people were nice. It was the highest paying job I ever had and the best benefits I ever had. Then one day, things took a turn for the worst and never got better. Metrics changed to something that was unrealistic. The company was mainly focused on sales and we were pushed to sell, sell, sell or you were reprimanded. High premiums made this very difficult. Management became super micromanagey… call volume was impossible to keep up with, and i was burnt out at the end of every day which lead to depression. It was impossible to get time off, Wages weren’t keeping up with inflation and bonuses were being cut every year along with PTO and other benefits. I couldn’t do it anymore. That was the most depressing 3 years of my life.
