Stable, Yet Uninspiring

Pros

Flexible working hours, stable pay, and some recognition of talent. Lots of team building activities, outings, and celebrations (sometimes a bit *forced* and much to handle for my taste). Continual growth. Largely co-located environment of > 20,000 employees makes for a unique, large-corporation experience with desirable amenities.

Cons

Non-technical leadership making sweeping long term goals for a largely tech oriented company. Wasted and/or strained use of the top 5% of the workforce (exacerbated by the hyperbolic visions of the future while continuing to hire lackluster talent in bulk instead of focused talent in smaller quantities).

Pros

Atmosphere was great. It fostered learning and movement, with a stress on personal interest. Fairly conservative, but if that isn't a big deal you would be fine.

Cons

Though the building is awesome, San Antonio isn't a great town to live in. You are far from many outdoor activities, and traffic sucks.
