Pros

Great benefits and campus. Nice cafeterias on site as well as gyms.

Cons

The company is trashing what was once a fantastic company. The management has lost its focus on caring for its employees and providing a healthy environment to work in. Some decisions being made at the higher levels are truly disappointing. I question what the company looks like in 3 years if they keep going down this path.

USAA has lost their soul

Pros

It is a paycheck with good benefits.

Cons

They suck the soul right out of you. Don't think that if you are a hard working employee with good work ethics and moral values that you will get ahead. All they want to do is promote and advocate for the LGBTQ employees. I am sorry but I want to puke every time I see the "Inspired by Your Pride" shirts. There is nothing work related that makes you a better person/employee based on your sexual status. USAA has lost their way from how they became a company. It is very sad. Stuart Parker needs to go. He is hurting a lot of employees by selling off parts of USAA financial business causing stress for employees not sure if they will have a job day by day. I honestly cannot recommend working for them anymore.

Pros

The cafeteria is the best feature

Cons

This is a company that will offer competitive compensation to draw employees away from competitors then retract those benefits a short time later. Same job, less pay.
