Toxic Caustic Horror House

Pros

A paycheck. Insurance. Nothing is good. Horrifying place to work. Nightmare.

Cons

Almost impossible to ever get off the phones. You’re stuck. Gaslighting. Forced to sell as much as you can as fast as you can using scripts and psychological warfare to get members of the military and their families to buy as many products as possible as fast as possible. You are required to post on Slack non stop emojis pretending you love your psychologically abusive management, the lying cheating company that raises insurance rates when you are divorced or become a widow. If you are poor, and have little to no credit, your rate is more than the richer members. If you are very high rank you pay a tiny fraction of the rate of others. Claims calls result in a rate increase. Unethical business practices. Women are charged more for insurance. Rates are insane for elderly, women, poor, and single. Regardless of insane rates for the above people you must still sell polices or you are punished with a PIP, berated in your 1 on 1 coaching and humiliated in team meeting. USAA will get rid of you if you take FMLA. Employees have heart attacks, depression, anxiety and most of every team is searching for a new job. People are fired constantly. Everyone thinks they will be fired at any moment every day that you log in. Even if your sales are very high, a manager may still chose to torment your team members in front of the team. It’s stressful to watch your teammates humiliated and berated for not being able to sell polices that are $1000 a month for a 20 year old car owned by an elderly person. A great majority of managers are racist and gaslights the team members who are the wrong race in their opinion. You can get lucky with a person that likes your race and unlucky the next time you are moved to a new team which is frequent. USAA doesn’t want you to bond with other employees so they move you constantly to disrupt relationships and keep everyone on edge and terrified. This is the most toxic and horrifying company you will ever work for.
