I worked there for 6 years and loved every second of it. I was so excited to go to work every day until they changed the CEO. We were all about the members and doing what was right for them. Instead of pushing products on our members we did reasonable recommendations until the new CEO changed and was making us sell XX amount each week/month. I went from doing a great job each phone call with improvement goals to getting on a performance plan because I didn’t land a sale. The pressure was way too much. Back to back phone calls your entire shift of angry members alllll day. If you block yourself to use the restroom or just to get a mental break after a bad call, be prepared to talk about it with your manager and how you can avoid that next time. I wanted to go into a teacher role so I worked my butt off for over a year literally doing the job as a manager/teacher and was told I needed a degree when the position came up. This was never a requirement in the past so I pled my case as to having the knowledge of already doing the job and they said “too bad”. It’s great having a break room and cool things on the campus, but you never have any time to use them. The PTO is great, good luck getting the day off that you want. At the beginning of the year you can bid to get a week off for a holiday, I never got my first or second choice. If you have a Dr appointment scheduled for next week you won’t get it off because it shows as not available for the next 3 months. Things really took a turn when the bonuses started to lower each year so you get paid little to nothing to deal with the stress of everything.
