Pros

USAA offers great tuition reimbursement, generous 401k contributions, and great pay for an entry level job.

Cons

The call center environment in which I worked was highly regulated, and every moment of your time during your shift is tracked (to measure how often you're taking calls). Sales expectations are difficult, since this role is often designed for servicing members accounts and answering questions, but you're expected to transition into a sales conversation on every call. You'll hear conflicting expectations from everyone in leadership.

Pros

Decent salary and benefits package

Cons

Handling every single stage of the claim including total loss while taking a multitude amount of calls for files that do not even belong to you. Voicemails now piled up since you're not avail to handle your own claims. And when adjusters would take your calls, there was an expectation to handle calls as if it was your own, but this was not always the case, and the files still requiring your attention.
