Pros

The only pro is the advanced commission structure and residual income. Other than that you need to be comfortable selling fake health coverage to people who don't know anything about major medical insurance or catastrophic coverage.

Cons

You must go to sleep knowing you sold an individual or a family "limited benefit health coverage" pawning it off as major medical health insurance. The company claims to be " helping people" achieve their health insurance needs but is really hurting people and getting payed doing it. The underwriter "Freedom life insurance" is a joke and should be banned but somehow keep slipping through the legal cracks. Beware when purchasing this crap!!!

We thank you for your positive comments regarding our advanced commission structure and residual income streams. A lot of hard work went into creating those programs. It's nice to see them acknowledged. Regarding other comments made here, we'll simply acknowledge that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That said, we find it hard to imagine our health coverage, which has been reviewed and approved by the respective insurance regulatory bodies of each state in which we do business...as being so-called "fake" coverage. Limited benefit health coverage cannot and must never be confused with major medical coverage. We are diligent in our efforts to properly train all USHEALTH Agents on this and many other important points. The underwriter, "Freedom Life Insurance Company of America" is rated B+ with a positive outlook by AM Best Company, which rates all insurance companies in America. We hardly consider that to be a joke. Further...we concur with your statement that we train our agents that customers have no deductibles or co pays - because that's exactly how our PremierChoice product line is designed. And yes...we also tell them they have access to a great PPO...because they do. In fact, we proudly offer one of the top rated PPO networks in America. Ashamed? Hardly...but...that's just our opinion. Please accept our thanks and our very best wishes for your future success.

Pros

There are no "pros" in lying to people, and taking their money unlawfully.

Cons

Learning how to lie and deceive.

Thank you for your comments and opinions. Correct me if I'm wrong...but I thought the whole purpose of Glassdoor was to gain insights about a company...directly from the people who work at or with...said company. I'm not sure how one could otherwise make an informed decision. It's clear...from your posting... that you don't care for our company. Noted. It's also clear...from other postings...that many others care deeply for our company. Perhaps the lesson here, is to allow Glassdoor visitors to read through all reviews...and then decide for themselves. Best wishes for your success.

Pros

Nice people and quick hiring process (because anyone gets in)

Cons

1. Tell you it's $200 to start up instead of $1000+ because you need as many states as possible to be successful 2. Training= none. Figure it out on your own 90% of the time. 3. Lie to leads. Just one example is Saying 6 free Dr visits......not the same as saying 6 free Dr visits while 3 are sickness and 3 are accidents and have a limit around $75 per visit. Cut throat selling supplemental coverage. 4. Couldn't sleep at night knowing I am selling them mediocre coverage at a high price. 5. Shadey commission splits. 6. Lead program is awful and you pay $90-100 /month for leads that are 6 months- 2 years old.

As always...thank you for your comments. We won't tell you that your review is not accurate...we will simply acknowledge that it is a 100% accurate representation of your perspective. Now...we'd like to offer our perspective. Start up fees are the fees collected by the company for purposes of processing the new agent's appointment. This is very different from state appointment fees, which are paid to each respective state in which the agent wants to sell. Regardless of which company you are with, the state is going to charge it's fees for appointment. In our opinion, it's important to remember this distinction. The company has no control over what a state chooses to charge for it's appointment fees. Training at USHEALTH Advisors takes place at the local office level, the Regional level and the national level. Is it possible you may have missed the company's online training and certification modules? Our records show that the company provides a minimum of 14 different training & certification modules for each state. Not to mention the additional training from the Regional or Divisional Leaders. Regarding your third point, we'll simply note that our product brochures, which form the basis for every sales presentation, clearly show how every benefit is structured...including Dr. visits. In the end, our perspectives differ on each of the points you raise. It doesn't make either of us right or wrong...it is simply a matter of perspective. We encourage anyone who is considering an opportunity with us to take note of your perspective...and ours...then form their own opinion. Again, thank you for your comments. We wish you well on your future endeavors.
