Pros

Coworkers are great Benefits are industry average

Cons

Too much to list Unprofessional upper management The company just wants to babysit you, great for new sales producers straight out of college who have never sold insurance before but for seasoned producers it’s a joke. It’s more important to hit metrics to USI than to actually sell. Meetings,Meetings and more meetings with people who don’t have a clue how or what to sell. I’ve seen 6 upper management practice leaders get fired. They sell you on you have a 4 year contract- not true. When they recruit you they don’t tell you about 1 academy and all of the daily busy work just checking boxes that is required. Absolutely no centralized marketing or account manager support. Actually keep track of how many times you use your key card to come into the office. If you have any experience in Insurance this isn’t the job for you…. Ask the recruiter the turnover rate because it’s astounding

Pros

- Work from home arrangement - Transparency from CEO

Cons

The system’s are extremely outdated and hard to use. The work is unfulfilling and mundane. Your raise and your colleagues raises are contingent on the amount of outsourcing you do. They track your productivity by the minute and will send reports to everyone showing what tasks you still have yet to finish (and everyone is assigned way more than they should be). The managers have been there for decades and refuse to help younger employees. Unfortunately, these problems are standard for a lot of insurance agencies, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be changed. Previous commenters have stated that everyone walks on eggshells around the producers and this is also correct. The level of incompetence demonstrated by every single person is astounding. In complete honesty I would avoid this place and I don’t know how people spend 30+ years here.

Pros

Good PTO, Flexibility, Benefits are ok, Dealt with COVID work from home well.

Cons

Account Management is treated terribly and not appreciated. Over worked with no merit increases for several years. Short staffed with no support. While the Producers continue to be hired and treated well. Upper Management doesn't care. Middle Management listens but can't do anything to create change. Moral is terrible and getting worse.
