USI Insurance Services reviews

Benefits- most companies give you health benefits on day one, not USI you may have to wait up to 60 days before your benefits kick in depending on the day you start- very old school. Paid Time Off- Most companies are heading towards unlimited also known as managed time off or they are giving a decent amount. USI is very strict and stingy - 18 days- about paid time off, very antiquated. Work From Home- I am fully remote, USI does not reimburse well. Remote workers get a small amount reimbursed. Again most companies pay for cell phone and/or internet for the remote employees at a decent amount especially in California where it is a law that they do so. The amount is so small its not worth the time to expense the reimbursement. Holidays- good amount of holidays are offered but again, out dated in the sense that most companies, the day before give a half day. Not USI. I would not say to avoid USI but if you are looking at other companies I would check out the best choice in terms of salary, advancements and benefit package as noted above.

Good luck getting hired! After meeting 8, yes you read that right 8 people over at least 12 different calls/webex/in person meetings, the nail in the coffin was these time wasters had me drive an hour and a half away for what was supposedly a meeting with HR to discuss pay and start dates only to call me later that same day saying that they're not ready to hire for the position that they'd been interviewing me for for over 3 months! Ridiculous, unprofessional, inconsiderate, completely unacceptable, these people should be ashamed.
