      Pros

      Pay is good, you will learn a lot. Must be able to multitask well and be able to be flexible.

      Cons

      Very conservative company, very corporate, can be high stress. At times work life balance is tough to manage.

      Very Easy job. not difficult to catch on with proper training. Attendance policy is very relaxed

      Profit At Any Price!

      Pros

      National broker with 100+ offices nation-wide. They write all lines of coverage and have contracts with most of the major insurance companies.

      Cons

      This insurance broker puts its profit margins ahead of its clients and employees. Top management are New Yorkers and call all of the shots. This company was owned by Goldman Sachs, who sold it to another private equity group, and was marketed to them as a hidden "pig in the poke". Local management across the country will do whatever is necessary to grow the bottom line. Prospective clients and employees should think ten times before going with this second class broker. And local management has rejected helping United Way and other similar non-profits unless they can write insurance on those non-profits. THE USI MOTTO: What can USI get and the heck with helping others.
