Pros
Most leaders truly believe in the “Dynamic Organization” or the company’s culture initiative. Depending on your area, a lot of opportunities for development are available, especially if you seek them out. great compensation when you are hurting your goals, and when forecast quotas are obviously misaligned across the company, the company takes steps to rectify the situation. Every day is different, and you get the opportunity to learn a LOT about technology, wireless, IoT. Most of the people you come across from different areas of the company are passionate and invested in what they do. Decent medical benefits, great time off. Involved in communities on the local level, from grass roots to national partners.
Cons
Health benefits cover the basics, if you are looking for plan options that set the bar, this will not cut it. Your area greatly determines the expectations of you in your role. What could get you terminated in one area gets you promoted in another. The workload also greatly differs area by area. Quota allocation is manipulated and sometimes is good, sometimes is greatly unbalanced. A store with double the traffic and greater headcount could have quotas the same or smaller. There is very little opportunity for advancement unless you are willing to relocate. Even when the opportunity arises, internal advancement is unlikely without heavy politicking. The day to day culture you experience relies heavily on your individual team and entitlement runs rampant.
