Pros

Good salary and great benefits.

Cons

High turnover. Incompetent employees on all levels. The public mantra for US Cellular is the "best customer service in the industry." Not true. And if you are a current employee, please do not like your supervisor. If you do, they get fired. US Cellular's mentality is that if you like your supervisor, then you are working for them and not the company. Go figure!

Pros

Pay is excellent Benefits Are Great Other associates are good people

Cons

New Hired associates are held to a standard that is unattainable - after 6 weeks you are expected to know policies and procedures as well as a seasoned associate, and if not - see ya! I've seen several people fired ovrlittle mistakes that new associates make. You are driven by fear. You come in to work everyday scared you'll be fired. Everyone is scared to death of the all might "Privacy Violation".

Pros

I work with amazing people. As long as you are learning and growing in your role, you are engaged. You can voice your concerns to leadership without reprimand, as long as you word it the right way. I have decent pay for working in a call center. There are good benefits and a 401k match.

Cons

There is no long-term career growth, unless you get promoted early and often. If you are extremely good at what you do, you will have difficulty moving up out of that role. You must watch how you word your concerns. At this point, they asked specialty queues to multi-task and take on additional roles. Morale is very low in my department as a result. Our handsets are outdated. We struggle to keep up with the rest of the industry. The scheduling is terrible.
