Pros

There are opportunities for making a respectable living. Also, the company has various pathways for career development, perks for academic growth, and phenomenal health and retirement benefits.

Cons

The sales pressure can sometimes be overwhelming, which is a statement applicable to many commission-based jobs. The minimum 60% threshold of the sales quota could be challenging and partially unfair as the company profits from all of the sales, but the employee does not. If it is a slower month, any rep below the 60% will receive no compensation, which may act as a sales motivator or a stress enhancer.
