Pros

Flexible hours, good pay for a student, great learning experience and resume building, free shuttle to work

Cons

Can be a little slow if working on a grant funded project, but I had a high quality team who was great to work with

Ups and downs

Pros

Access to TMC. Full tuition, travel, books, insurance and editing support. Gym access as well. Great faculty and mentors. Good opportunities for networking and collaboration with other research centers in the area

Cons

It is very expensive to park in the medical center. Student housing has been opened up to anyone in the medical center, so there are long waitlists.

Pros

fully paid health insurance, pension, low overtime

Cons

job duties, raises, promotion opportunities are entirely manager driven and there are huge discrepancies between departments and job levels, processes are outdated and communication is poor
