      People are so nice and collaborative. They understand each other very well. Time is very flexible in both work and life.

      Salary is soft money. You need to prepare for your future career if you have a big family.

      Great growth opportunity if you are a hard worker. If you think you are getting into a safe government job and don't have to excel to keep your job, this isn't the place for you. UTHealth has high standards and everyone expects their colleague to pull their own weight.

      Salary increases are restrained so your financial growth will be steady but slow.
