Pros

Free health insurance, state pension, excellent dental and vision benefits. Ability to grow your career.

Cons

Because it is a state institution, there are many policies and state-based processes that create an extra layer of approvals. This ultimately slows down your ability to accomplish things. Employees tend to be lazy.

Pros

- great coworkers with intrinsic motivation - a lot of learning opportunities - sponsors J1 and H1b visa

Cons

The psychiatry department is absolutely understaffed and has a high turnover rate for good reason. Great, intrinsically motivated employees are hired and burnt out one by one. Dishonest communication with employees; Questionable hiring and management techniques.
