Pros

Very professional, very trustworthy, and very demanding. If you are very young and sharp, able to learn quickly, and can make a lot of money for the credit union, you'll do great.

Cons

Claims to be a non-profit operating for the benefit of the public, but it really focuses on profits and uses the non-profit status to shield it from taxes. It is difficult to do what is in the best interest of the members when selling credit cards and loans is the main focus.

-They care about work/life balance -Fun perks like paid birthdays off -The people are generally fun to work with

Cons

-It's tough to get a significant raise or promotion. You have to be close to perfect. -After or before hours meetings. They're paid, of course, but it can mean very early mornings or late nights that you don't have control over scheduling. -It's tiring customer service work with all the usual cons that come with that
