Pros

I am now 3 years old in UiPath and I still find it the best working place where I could be in Romania. The first 1.5 years have been the most amazing time of my life and career until now ( and I don't think that I will ever experience the same thing again). The feelings of a start-up sky rocketing, the people, the fact that I learned more in this time that I think I would have in any other company in 5 years. I remember that Daniel once said that he wanted to create the best place to work and he truly did (of course together with the team). I thought many times to leave Romania and just before hiring to UiPath I told myself "I will not leave the country until I do the best I can here for my career" and I decided that I want to apply for top 5 companies in Romania and I chose UiPath and I am still here. Even if there is no more that 'start-up feeling' because.. well it's not anymore and I think that is natural and even if the culture became more corporate, I think is still the best place to be as a corporate job. - Great salary - Great benefits - Flexible hours - Excellent direct management ( at least, for me) The team-leads and the manager in my department are people which I truly admire and for which I am grateful I work with. - Great people/environment : people are always ready to help and support their colleagues and our clients

Cons

- At the beginning I enjoyed a lot the speed of change and evolution and let's generally name it.. 'chaos' because it made me learn so many things and find myself in so many different situations that shaped me. But now especially with all the pandemic situation I would enjoy some more stability. -Sometimes the workload in my department is very high, at the end of 2020 I felt it at it's peak, but in 2021 we hired more people and now is better

Pros

Good salary, good benefits, nice people

Cons

You don’t learn much besides the company product. If you’re a computer science graduate, this job will not look good on your cv and you won’t learn any skills that will be valuable for another company.

Pros

In the beginning it was purely focused on developing something great and the work culture also thrived with that mentality .

Cons

Uipath became obsessed with creating hype since early 2018 when they started getting massive funding and were eyeing going public . The stock is also going to crash soon because of this . As someone currently working as a developer in this company it’s scary how much a company like Microsoft has crawled closer to uipath. I warned management not to focus so much on hype and going public . We should have and should moving forward put more effort on innovation and spend less time worrying about shareholder expectations and creating hype. If you have any doubts on what management really feels look no further to the fact that the Cfo traded many of his shares out when he was able too after going public . It’s not a coincidence . Tell me a company where executives will trade out of a stock in huge quantities when they are confident of their technology moving forward. The answer is none. If you want further proof look at the interviews of that very same Cfo hyping up rpa and uipath right before doing public .
