Pros

The hours are good and the pay is very competitive, especially with less experience than usually needed.

Cons

They completely micromanage, there is absolutely no privacy, they record every phone call & every email, they call all your accounts & ask about your job performance weekly, and they are a complete boys club.

Pros

1. Competitive pay...but they make you earn it in horrible culture and wading through old technology that will make you irrelevant in the current IT world.

Cons

1. OUTDATED TECH - All on premise service hosting. No cloud (no desire to move to cloud either), - Very little automation. - Not open to change or innovation. Don't think you can come here and change anything, all decisions are made by the president of the company, not the actual tech leaders. 2. NO WORK FROM HOME DURING THE PANDEMIC OR ANYTIME, FOR ANY REASON. 3. Wear a shirt/tie every day as a developer (non customer facing employee) 4. Uline doesn't follow standards such as agile. They say they do but really it's waterfall (old development methodology) disguised as agile. You will have to unlearn this after leaving Uline (I had to) 5. Micromanagement is strong here. Again, they say it's agile, but it's not. 6. I had to do hours of work on my own to stay relevant to even be considered for other jobs that are now predominantly cloud centric or at least in the process of moving to the cloud. DO NOT APPLY HERE, you're doing yourself a disservice if you want to be relevant in the tech industry. I am so happy that I moved to a different company that allows me to WFH and work on relevant technology that continues to advance my career. If it gives you any idea how scarred I am from Uline I felt compelled to write this a YEAR after I left just in case post pandemic job seekers stumble upon this review. STAY AWAY!

Pros

Decent pay to start. That's about it.

Cons

Possibly the most horrid place to work in Wisconsin. If the idea of working for a horrible family interests you, sign up. Just take five minutes to read any of the "positive" reviews on Glassdoor and you'll immediately spot them as plants. It must be part of some marketing scheme. Ever wonder why they have so many positions open ALL THE TIME on the local Milwaukee job boards? It's because the turnover rate is so high. Everyone who has decided to make a career there must have very little self-esteem.
