Pros

Owners aknowledge and provide the employees with every possible way of providing feedback on how the company is doing, and how it could improve. Profit sharing bonuses are great, as well as performance bonus and raise at the end of the year.

Cons

Hours are a bit difficult to manage a work/life balance. My particular shift is at night and it doesn't allow me to get my MBA or have enough time with my family. Great company, but they should definitely look into making a 8-5.

Pros

Great bonuses, including weekly cash bonuses for achieved revenue goals. Everyone hired is a 'type A' personality, so you will likely make a lot of friends in the office.

Cons

Rampant micromanagement; little opportunity for merit based promotions; management spends more time spying on your internet usage or emails than actually managing; sexist dress code policy, including women not being able to choose whether they wear pantyhose or tights, and management checking if you pant suit pieces match brands; no opportunity for creativity, every policy or procedure is literally documented to death; the president Liz is a business dictator; you are limited to the number of 'personal items' you can have in your desk, and management will go through your desk drawers looking for "contraband" whenever they like. This company will ruin your enjoyment of Hall and Oates forever!

If it weren't for the pay, Uline wouldn't be able to keep employees

Pros

excellent salary, insurance, paid time off, and bonus

Cons

extremely sexist (and racist) dress code, all managers are micromanagers, culture of mistrust for managers and coworkers, everything has to be done a very specific way--don't appreciate outside the box thinking or creativity, vacation time doesn't roll over, will risk employees' well being and send out in treacherous weather, very strict sick policy, and very strict clock in policy
