If you are fresh out of collage, and need experience this is the place to be. You will learn quite a bit on making cold calls, and how to negotiate with candidates on how to get jobs

Cons

They make UMA employees log onto glass door and leave good reviews, they even have a whole social media team dedicated to doing this. They will shut down a whole department, and let go of people at any given moment if it disrupts their budgets. THEY ARE ALSO OUTSOURCING TO PHILIPPINES, EVENTUALLY LAY OFF PEOPLE AND CUT COST THAT WAY.

Willing to teach, flexible to some degree with alternative working conditions (I.e. Working from home).

Cons

Poor management, extremely difficult to move up or adjust pay, under appreciation of hardworking employees, showed preference to certain enployees based on social status with upper management, lack of opportunities to learn new technologies or advance expertise past a certain point.

Dear Analyst - I'm sorry to hear you that your experience at UMA did not meet your expectations. Clearly you and your manager did not see eye-to-eye on a number of things and it is a shame we were unable to amicably reach a positive outcome. UMA works hard to ensure all staff members feel appreciated – through an integrated package of compensation, benefits and recognition; and to provide staff with a platform and open door to share any and all concerns.
