Pros

Pto was 3 weeks heard now it’s 4 Benefits are decent

Cons

They pay you pennies! For the amount of stress they put you under you don’t get paid well. Working you to the bone. One time we had to stay till 11pm because the systems went down. I think we got 4 hours of PTO. Woah. Thanks! Management is sexist. Always understaffed. The push programs on you before they are ready. The training is sub par. I wouldn’t recommend anyone apply with this company not even for bagel Friday. Stay clear!

Pros

Generally most of the people are great, with some glaring exceptions who are a complete pain. If you don't like micromanagement, this could be a good place for you because process management is not employed in any way. Pretty much your only involvement with management is a monthly meeting, or when a client calls and complains about you.

Cons

Comp is not competitive, both salaries and benefits are substandard. It's owned by VC so they basically start with the amount of money/margin they need to make and budget backwards and reduce the salaries/bonuses to meet the number that the VC fund needs to make. CEO appears to be isolated from what's going on in any department other than sales. Focus on process is non-existent. Different departments could not be more siloed unless that was actually Management's intent. I have only my experience to go on, but I get a feeling that double-digit bonuses are a rarity. They'll make you work on your vacation because turnover is so high that the department is never fully staffed so there's no one to back you up, and then they hand you a 5% bonus because you couldn't counter the client's manifest incompetence. They take a lot of clients with no mutual fund experience, and it's entirely up to the legal department to educate them. Some of the relationship managers are okay but for the most part their existence is imperceptible.
