We take pride in our very low turnover rates, compared to industry standards. We have taken many steps to address improved retention, including enhancing our recruitment process to ensure a better fit between candidates, intentionally increasing associate engagement and investing in development and training for all. Ultimus does conduct exit interviews to gain deeper insight into the reasons behind departures, which has allowed us to implement meaningful changes that have improved associate satisfaction and retention. Ultimus values our culture and believes the ability to offer remote and hybrid work opportunities is just one way we can support our associates with their individual needs. In terms of hours worked, as we are an accounting-focused firm in the client service business, we are at times faced with unexpected requests which require additional hours, but in comparison to public accounting or similar work, we do not have mandatory weekends or set mandatory busy season hours.
