Pros

Great Culture! Loved coming to work everyday.

Cons

It's a small company and not one you'd want to stay at to advance your career as the pay isn't great and there's no room for growth.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at Uncommon Goods. We've very glad to hear you love coming to work! One of our foundational goals as a company is to be everyone's favorite place to work and we strive to constantly improve our team member experience to meet that goal. One improvement we are actively making involves creating additional tiers of professional advancement within our Customer Service team. Year-round Customer Service team members would be able to advance in tiers based on learning specific skillsets (coaching, management, specific administrative responsibilities), which creates a clearer growth path to advancing to supervisory roles and up. We're also continually exploring modes of internal advancement that allow team members to explore work in other departments. Feedback such as yours encouraged us to pursue this change! #WeAreAlwaysLearning Manager, Talent Acquisition Uncommon Goods

Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at Uncommon Goods! We're glad to hear that your team created a positive atmosphere during your time with us. We regularly evaluate our compensation, which currently starts at $20/hr across all of our departments, to create well-paying seasonal positions for our New York community. While we cannot retain all of our seasonal team members in long-term roles, we deeply appreciate our seasonal team's contributions to our business and welcome team members back for later seasons. Thank you for providing your feedback regarding your experience at Uncommon Goods. We're glad to hear that a thorough training was provided by your manager! Not only are our managers experts in their fields, we have spent considerable time in 2022 training our management team in goal development, delegation, and delivering feedback to create an incredible team member experience at UG. We appreciate your feedback regarding compensation. We actively review our compensation against market data and provide a suite of benefits, including a 4% 401k match, company stock options, bonus eligibility, 1-on-1 confidential professional coaching, and education subsidies to round out our team's total compensation. In the spirit of #WeAreAlwaysLearning, we encourage you to provide feedback to your manager or the People Team when you see an opportunity for improvement. Thank you for your contributions to our team and for helping us strive to be everyone's favorite place to work! Talent Acquisition Partner Uncommon Goods
