Pros

Great MDV benefits and tons of flexibility (because the offices are a ghost town these days). Dutch harbor is beautiful and they pay for all living expenses for Dutch-based employees.

Cons

The CEO is MIA the majority of time. No one has any idea what our annual objectives are or if we are meeting operational benchmarks. Zero leadership & communication from Exec Team. We are flying blind into a storm and no one seems to care.

Pros

Good work and life balance.

Cons

Employees are encouraged to not excel and promote their own achievements. Management highlights those employees that don't ask for raises or promotions as if it's some kind of virtue. Sad, pathetic, under-abled employees are held up like some sort of trophy, while over achievers are held down. Sad. The recognition of opportunity cost for poor performing players that are willing to accept a subpar paycheck are held in regard, while actual employees providing real value are silenced. It'll catch up to them. Guaranteed.
