      Pros

      I really enjoy my coworkers and manager. I like the self scheduling and experience I have gotten from working on other units as well as my own.

      Cons

      My unit at times ends up being a dumping ground for patients that don't truly belong on a cardiac unit. There is also an issue of length of stay and re admittance.

      Wonderful employees Always full, usually don't have to worry about low census

      Cons

      Management are not forthcoming about upper level decisions Constant backlog of patients waiting for admission because physicians are not discharging patients home People making decisions that affect clinical staff that do not work the floors Always short staffed on clinical floors

      A lot of potential to move up within the company. Fun place to work and very flexible.

      Have to work one holiday and if you're new you get the last pick.
