Pros

The fellow employees look out for one another and have built a great team. We are the only reason anything actually gets accomplished. The trash leadership, or lack there of are just there to tell you what you want to hear to get you away from them.

Cons

Terrible managers who have never actually done the job, or the couple that have are so far removed from what we actually do it's pathetic. Superintendent is nicknamed used car salesman because of all the bs that spews from his mouth. Sad state of affairs to say the least. Dupo is a shell of what it formerly was... The company, toxic is the only word that comes to mind. They give us paid sick days and then restrict the attendance policy even more. Yet, they wonder why they cannot keep new hires. I would not recommend union pacific as an employer to my worst enemy.
