Top heavy unethical management.

Pros

Pay is decent if you can handle the absolute garbage management. No work life balance. The company is a propaganda machine for itself. Management will actively look for reasons to fire you daily. Pro. If you have no skill set' you can drink the cool aid at UP and get a decent retirement.

Cons

Training is garbage. Little to no opportunity for advancement unless you spend 20 years there. The leadership will tell you directly that the brass has no idea what there doing then turn around and act like friends. Management lacks fundamental morals to treat employees right. Will fire without cause. Plausible deniability are management favorite words. OSHA violations and non certified signers.

Pros

Average pay, decent insurance, Great retirement ( if you can make 30 years and 60 years old)

Cons

Have to fight for years to get a contract and its usually pro company, zero personal life you will be required to be available to report at a phone call, possible to work 30+ days without a day off, loads of travel, not appreciated by management, micro management, no sick days or pay. don't get sick
