Pros

Decent pay and benefits. I’ve made some pretty good friends and got to see some pretty scenery.

Cons

Shareholders and operating ratio first, safety last. The precision railroading model is a joke. It’s just a numbers manipulation game so the shareholders and Fritz make more money. Constantly trying to find a way to eliminate workforce to drive the operating ratio down so yet again, Fritz and the shareholders make more money. You don’t get any scheduled days off and the attendance policy they forced down our throats basically lets you take one sick day a month. If you exceed one day off a month, they terminate you. The unions have no power and the company does whatever they please with no regard to agreements. You’re just a replaceable number on a seniority roster. Hands down the worst company I have ever worked for.

Pros

Not a Dam thing. btw, I was not laid off. I chose to leave. I do not stick around places that have the lack of morals, standards, and respect. No amount of $ is worth that. This all occurred in IT in Omaha. NE.

Cons

Salary is not competitive. Good ole boys group. Layoffs in the glass palace (corporate) are dependent upon who your drinking and sleeping buddies are. There are lazy / inappropriate/offensive/sleeping around people who lie their way in their job and still have their job. That's ONLY because the management got to decide who stays and who goes. . It was NOT dependent upon work ethic or performance. Once layoffs were announced. .. years ago, it was every man for him self. Stab each other in the back and lie your way to keep your job. I'd choose zero stars if the system allowed me.

Worst company on Earth

Pros

Pay and some really good employees.

Cons

You're just a number. Average employees are viewed as a commodity. If you want a job that you are constantly being threatened and in fear of being cut, this is it. Management greed, constant layoffs, lies and threats. Run from this company.
