      Pros

      Mediocre salary. Costco is catching up and appears to be a better environment.

      Cons

      work life balance is terrible. vacation/personal leave is not with current times. employees work 8 years before getting a 3rd week of vacation 17 years before your 4th. Retirement age is too high for physically demanding jobs. They hire as young as 18 but you have to work 42 years before you can draw retirement. If they would change the retirement to allow you to retire after 20 years no matter your age it would be better.

      Pros

      Great daycare (I miss the teachers!) I also miss the great people who have worked there for years.

      Cons

      Diversity is NOT important to leadership. They are focused on recruitment not on retaining their current employees or changing any of the systemic, internal practices that prevent POC from getting promoted. Also, I am sad to see that a large number of the diverse employees they did have over the past 10 years have left in the past 2-3 years and leadership does not seem to care.

      The crappy yearly calendar they send you.

      Cons

      Where to begin...unprecedented bad work environment, mental abuse, sky high stress, zero ability to have a semblance of a normal life, threats, high rate of suicide and divorce, railroad only treats you as a number, attendance policy is horrific if not illegal. Endentured servitude.
