Pros

Good training, 1 year promotion is super achievable. Compensation is also competitive it can compete well with FMCGs

Cons

A lot of workload, OT everyday is expected and you cannot choose which store they will put you in.

- Culture is extremely intense and requires long hours to stand out - Extremely high turnover - Low pay compared to the marketplace - Poor PTO - Poor work life balance - Japanese work culture permeates into US corporate culture - Individual experience is determined by team and manager - Very low salary increases even when promoted
