Pros

There are absolutely no pros to working for uniqlo

Cons

Everything - working on 3 month contracts, understaffed but letting staff go all the time, contract can end at any minute, managers and/or supervisors are absolutely awful, everything is completely unorganised and the way staff are dealt with on a day to day basis is extremely condescending, from the first day nothing was explained, yet you are meant to know how to do everything otherwise you are scathed by management, and you are expected to reach targets in allocated times that are impossible.

Pros

You learn a lot of new things. They trust you to make your own decisions.

Cons

Tiring during peak seasons. Lots of task to be done in a short time. Overlook for salary upgrade sometimes.

Pros

Very organised. Whatever you need to learn is written in a retail textbook you have to study.

Cons

The Singapore CEO lacks the vision to become number 1 in the fast retailing industry. Doesnt hire people with the knowledge required. Just looking for somebody he can control.
